Signing in is simple and takes seconds:

• Email code — enter your email and we'll send a 6-digit code (or magic link) to sign you in.
• Google — one tap with your Google account, where enabled.

An account is required for trading, daily claims, portfolio tracking, and the leaderboard.

The faucet lets you claim free Gold Coins tokens once per day. The daily reset happens at 00:00 UTC (midnight UTC).

Claiming on consecutive days builds a streak that increases your daily reward:

The maximum multiplier is 2x, which you maintain as long as you keep claiming daily.

If you don't claim before 00:00 UTC, your streak resets to 0 and you lose your multiplier bonus. The next time you claim, you'll start fresh at Day 1 with the base 1x multiplier.

There's no way to "catch up" on missed days - each day's allocation is forfeit if not claimed before the daily reset.

The daily reset happens at 00:00 UTC every day. This is the same time worldwide, regardless of your local timezone.

For reference: UTC is the same as GMT. In the US, that's 7:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM PST (or 8:00 PM EDT / 5:00 PM PDT during daylight saving time).

Prediction markets let you buy shares in outcomes you believe will happen. Each market has YES and NO shares, priced between $0 and $1 based on the crowd's collective belief in the probability.

• Buy YES shares if you think the event will happen
• Buy NO shares if you think it won't
• When the market resolves, winning shares pay out $1 each
• Losing shares are worth $0

Some markets have more than two outcomes (e.g., "Who will win the championship?"). In multi-outcome markets, you buy shares in the specific outcome you believe in.

BBallWhale uses the Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule (LMSR) for automated market making. This mathematical formula ensures:

• You can always buy or sell shares (unlimited liquidity)
• Prices adjust automatically based on trading activity
• Large trades have more price impact than small trades
• Prices always sum to approximately 100%

Every action on BBallWhale earns you XP (experience points), which determines your rank. Here's how you earn XP:

• Execute a trade: 10 XP
• Correct prediction: 50 XP
• Daily Gold Coins claim: 15 XP
• Complete daily missions: 25-75 XP
• Streak milestones: 20-50 XP

Achievements are badges you unlock by reaching milestones on the platform. There are 20 badges across 5 categories:

• Trading — based on number and size of trades
• Predictions — based on correct predictions
• Streaks — based on consecutive daily claims
• Explorer — based on market diversity
• Account — signing up and completing your profile

Each badge has a rarity tier (common, rare, epic, or legendary). You can feature up to 3 badges on your profile for other users to see.

Every day you get 3 missions — one easy, one medium, and one hard. Complete them to earn XP and Gold Coins rewards.

• Missions reset daily at 00:00 UTC
• Progress is tracked automatically as you trade and interact
• You must manually claim completed missions to receive rewards

The Portfolio page shows all your prediction market positions in one place:

• Active positions with current value and P&L
• Resolved positions (won/lost) with final payouts
• Overall stats: total profit, win rate, and trade count
• Filter by status (open, won, lost)

The Leaderboard has three tabs so you can compete in different ways:

• XP — ranked by total experience points earned
• Profit — ranked by net trading profit
• Volume — ranked by total trading volume

Your rank badge is displayed next to your name on the leaderboard. Make accurate predictions, complete missions, and maintain your streak to climb the rankings!
